I love to read biographies. I actually have a goal to read a biography about every US president, and I currently have 23 read. It is important to read about history, it gives an understanding on how our current events were influenced or shaped. It’s also good to learn to see where people excelled and where they failed, then learn from that. I honestly have a whole bookshelf of just biographies.
Here are my top 5 biographies I’ve read (in no special order):
“Grant” by Ron Chernow
“The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt” by Edmund Morris
“Warlord A Life of Winston Churchill At War 1874-1945” by Carlo D’Este
“Robert Morris: Financier of the American Revolution” by Charles Rappleye
“Catherine The Great: Portrait of a Woman” by Robert K. Massie
