In 2 Corinthians 5:10 it says we must all appear in front of the judgement seat, and that everyone may receive the things done in his body. In this verse the word “appear” comes from the Greek word phaneē, which means to be revealed openly or publicly.
When the Lord comes back, there will be a judgement of believers. It doesn’t matter if we are ready or not. It doesn’t matter who we are. Many times in the Bible it states that God is a respecter of no persons when talking about judgement.
At the end of our lives, are we going to remember all the money we made or will we remember all the time we lost with our loved ones, trying to make that money?
Don’t be like pharaoh, so many times in our lives we are. We constantly reject God’s correction until it is too late and it takes something drastic to get our attention.
Does our testimony fall into being a false witness? Are we lying about who we are as a Christian?
Unfortunately, times have changed and mass shootings are no longer shocking. We’ve started to become calloused to them, which should never happen.
